Two common types of cutting tool are i) High speed tool steel and ii) Carbide Tool
High Speed is cheap , commonly available , can be reground however has short tool life .
On the other hand Carbide tool has a much longer tool life , however it is expensive and can not be reground.

Born in 1960 at time of transition, 3years after Malaysia Independence ,15 years after end of Second world war. Educated in Hu yew until 1972 Educated in Heng Eee high School until 1978 Received tertiary education in TAR College , City and Guild London, Mitutoyo metrology Institute in Japan , Rubber Research institute Malaysia. I experienced the second social change in 1990s when Malaysia sucessfuly transformed herself from agricultural based nation to a major trading country in the world. I am proud of Malaysia achievement so far .
